Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

The questions brides, bridal parties, and clients ask most often, on bridal makeup, bridal party glam, pre-event facials, and the kit.

01

Bridal Makeup

  • Brides typically reach out six to twelve months ahead of the wedding date, though Ariba accepts shorter timelines when her calendar allows. Earlier booking gives the most room to design the look, schedule a trial, and map any pre-wedding facials and skin prep around the date.

  • Yes. A bridal trial is a private session in studio, usually four to eight weeks before the wedding. Ariba builds the look in conversation with the dress, the venue, the lighting, and the portraits, and refines it together with you so the morning of asks no questions.

  • The application is engineered for a long day. Skin prep, base, and finish are layered with longevity in mind, and the kit is built around houses Ariba trusts on long-wear bridal work, including Charlotte Tilbury, Patrick Ta, and Huda Beauty. A small touch-up kit is provided for the bride to carry into the evening.

  • Yes. Ariba travels for weddings, destination events, and editorial bookings. Travel logistics are scoped privately during the inquiry conversation.

02

Bridal Party & Bridesmaids

  • Yes. Bridal party makeup is one of Ariba's most requested services. Bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, and other members of the party are designed in conversation with the bride so the day reads as one composition rather than several disconnected looks.

  • Party size, getting-ready timeline, and venue access shape what is realistic. For larger parties, Ariba coordinates with vetted artists from her network so every face is finished comfortably ahead of the first look or the ceremony.

  • Within reason, yes. Each bridesmaid is treated individually, but every look is calibrated against the bride and the overall palette so the wedding photographs as a single visual language.

03

Pre-Event Facials & Skin Design

  • The ideal window is generally one to two weeks before the day, never the night before. Ariba maps facials backwards from the date so any flushing, purging, or sensitivity has time to settle, and skin peaks on the day rather than reacts to it.

  • Skin design is a personalized plan in the weeks leading up to the wedding, the shoot, or the event. It covers product curation, routine sequencing, treatment timing, and the avoidance of reactive ingredients close to the date.

  • Yes. Sensitive skin is one of the most common reasons clients reach out. The plan is built conservatively, treatments are timed with extra margin, and product choices favor finishes that flatter rather than provoke the skin.

  • Yes. Pre-bridal and pre-event facials are performed by Ariba in studio, scheduled in sequence with the wedding day or event call time.

04

Products & The Kit

  • Ariba works with a curated kit centered on Charlotte Tilbury, Patrick Ta, Scott Barnes, Huda Beauty, and Dermalogica. Each piece is selected for finish, longevity, and how it reads under daylight, flash, and HD.

  • Yes. The kit is built to serve a wide range of skin tones and undertones across foundation, concealer, bronzer, and lip. Color matching is part of the trial and the consultation.

  • Skincare is recommended individually after a consultation. Ariba favors Dermalogica for routine and pre-event care, but the specific products and cadence are tailored to your skin rather than prescribed off a shelf.
